| How long have you been playing?
About 6 years. How did you get started?
Not really sure, I was a freshman in high school and for some reason I wanted to play paintball, so I bought a gun on eBay and here I am. What are your goals for paintball?
My goals are to just keep having fun. If it's not fun anymore, I know that I'm in the wrong sport and I need to stop. Every year playing national tournaments, they continue to get more fun and I don't see any reason for that to stop. I know plenty of people who want to play pro some day, but I don't want to play pro if I'm not with my friends who make paintball what it is for me. I'll play what they play. What is your favorite tournament?
I've had a few memorable tournaments, it's tough to name a favorite. NCPA National Championships was absolutely crazy last year considering I had my gear bag stolen that same morning we were flying to Dallas. Playing with OSU and placing 4th in the nation for 5 man was pretty fun, not to mention the partying and crazy things we did. But at the same time, I really enjoy CFOA Xball and I think it's one of the best leagues to play in. Nothing like that southern hospitality. And there's also nothing like playing on throw together teams with some of my close friends that I've met online and such. Who is your paintball idol?
It's tough just to name one, as so many people have helped me become a better person and mold me into the person I am. First and foremost, definitely my family here, all the OSU guys and Delirious dudes who I live / play with every weekend. Outside of the 614, I have lots of "idols" but a few very close ones. My most admired man in paintball is Phil Luis from SplatAttack.com / Throttle. He's done so much for me when I've been down, up, -- you name it. That and he's become one of my best friends in just a few months of knowing him. And of course, Michael Zapantis is an awesome guy who's helped me in so many ways, who even gets props from my Mom as she said he was just "oh so nice and took such crap from people" when he coached us in an NCPA Xball tourney. And definitely props to Pete, Nate, and Rob, I have quality friends. What teams have you been apart of?
Delirious, Ohio State, and various throw together teams at PSP / NPPLs. What are your favorite moments in paintball?
Most would say winning, because obviously it's nice. Sure it's fun, but regardless, I'm still gonna have fun. Normally being with a bunch of dudes drinking and drinking wouldn't be fun, but no… it really is. Especially drunk paintball chats. But just being at events with my team is definitely my favorite moments in paintball, because I'd rather be losing and having fun than winning and not having fun. I can't even begin to explain how much I love going to Jack in the Box in North / South Carolinas at the CFOAs. What do you love most about the sport?
I love almost everything about it. I love getting new gear, going to national events, being with my team, etc. But most importantly, the friends I've met. I've met some amazing people who will be my friends for life, all through this sport of paintball. I think it's pretty neat. I don't know any other industry / sport where flying to stay at a hotel with strangers that you've talked to only for a few months is perfectly normal. Favorite piece of headwear?
Str8killas headband. What do you like most about WK?
Kyle Gellis. He's the man, if you don't believe me, you should. But no, seriously, Warped Kustoms is a great company. I've been around quite a few companies and organizations in this industry to know what's good and who will treat you right. Warped Kustoms treats me right, and they make some of the most super gear in the paintball world. What's not to like about WK?
